Anyone hear about scholarships from MSU?  I think they said they would let us know by 2/15.  Also, does anyone know how Toledo compares to MSU?  I noticed that a significantly lower number of firms recruit at UT than at MSU (according to NALP).  I was under the impression that they were similarly ranked schools.

For those of you interested in Michigan State, no scholarship money was awarded to anybody below a LSAT score of 157, awards were sent 2-16-06. This information is from the office of admissions.

Who is planning on attending the Newly Admitted Students Open House this month?  I'm planning on attending.  Might be nice to meet up with a few fellow peers...

Well, what was the environment like? How were the students? Did you sit in on a class? If so, what was the prof like? Anything you could tell me would really help. MSU is a lot of money so I'm having a hard tiem deciding. From what I know however, I really like the place.

No, I didn't sit in a class.  All of the students seemed nice enough.  I talked quite a bit with the director of the career center.  He seemed to be very knowledgeable and helpful.  Have you visited there?  The building is pretty impressive and fairly new.  All classes are there as well as offices and the library.

msu just dropped back in to tier 4. i'm wondering how people here feel about that.

i for one never expected this. i thought it was going nowhere but up in the rankings.
