Threatening to Transfer for Scholarship $$$?

I know that I have no shot at this, but has anyone tried to transfer from their school and ended up getting scholarship money? I really dont want to leave my current school but I have 0 scholarships here and the debt is starting to scare me. Any sucess stories?

To make it work, you will probably have to come at the administration with your complete 1L grades in June coupled with acceptances at another/multiple schools.  Then, if you're in the top 15% you might have a chance at getting some/alot of scholarship money depending on rank.
