Anyone get a summer position yet?

I got an offer for a summer position yesterday afternoon.  Don't know if I'll take it though since work-study or a stipend is not guaranteed....

I was offered an unpaid externship in the Civil Dept. of the Superior Court.  I don't know if I will take it though, I am hoping that a couple interviews I have lined up with the Federal District Court will work out.  Either way, I don't think I will be getting paid this summer.

I sent out 31 applications to federal judges on Dec. 1.  I only have one reply so far, that said they were not interviewing until Feb. when grades come out (that was a pleasant pre-finals e-mail).  I am hoping to interview while I am home over X-mas break with someone.  If all else fails I will work at my old job at a city atty's office.  Nothing that will pay me...

Most 1Ls take unpaid positions for the summer.  Just not sure if I should take this particular one b/c of the high cost of living in this area, and it wasn't one of my top choices.  I likely won't be applying anywhere else until the holidays though.

I have a couple PI interviews.  One firm asked me for my UG grades (sure I can forget about them now!) and several others have said they are waiting for fall grades (of which I will have none.)  I'm really excited about the PI jobs!

um...I am still working on my cover letters at this point. But hey, my resume is finished though!

I have 2 interviews next week with federal judges.  Hopefully I will get an offer, and be able to relax during the semester.

Just got a job at a large law firm in Boston. I thought this was really early, but I guess they got through their 2L slots early. Pretty psyched to get paid this summer!
