question about transferring

question about transferring
« on: October 08, 2005, 05:20:24 PM »
this is a serious post- just putting that out there. i am at a lower tier 4 school in the northeast and want to transfer to another tier 4 school. my school has a c curve so i ended up last year with a 2.8. that puts me in the upper half of my very small class. i am looking to transfer to roger williams in RI. I will be applying with the stipulation that i am going to have to repeat this semester b/c they only take 30 credits (or retake some 1l classes). Do I have any chance of being able to transfer there? anyone at RW right now in the 2l class and know of available spots being open? i would very much like to attend. thanks for any info.

There's so much HORRIBLE press about that school...why RW?

FWIW, supposedly lateral transfers within tiers is easier than trying to transfer up.
