Hi guys,
I was wondering when people generally take the MPRE. My friend took it in the summer following her 2nd year after taking pro res. Is this standard? Thanks!

The MPRE is the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam. Most people take it some time during their second year, but double check with the state you plan to practice in. Some states only accept scores taken within a certain number of months of your taking the bar exam. Although it's not tough, you don't want to have to deal with taking it twice just because you didn't know the timeline for your state.

I took it this summer (which was indeed the summer after my second year). It's offered in March, August, and November.
