Tax LLMs in Texas for average student

I go to a 4th tier Texas law school. I will probably graduate right in the middle of my class. I have done well in my Tax classes so far and want to pursue Tax as a career. I have been interested in tax since undergrad (accounting degree).

Do I have a chance at getting into the tax LLM progams at SMU or UH with average grades?

Assuming I do get into one of the above listed schools, what are my job prospects?
