UT Austin Status

Has anyone gone to decision recently at UT's status page, or heard anything from the school in the last few weeks? I've been complete since Jan 6th and haven't heard a peep.

the status page does not change when you receive a decsion.

It will continue to stay "completed".

If you visit www.lawschoolnumbers.com, you can find some recently made decisions under UT

I'm also waiting for my decision.

I was deferred EA and never heard from them again.  I think I'll call tomorrow to get some closure.

i would keep checking it.  i was admitted back in november, and my status changed on the website well over 2 weeks before i heard otherwise

outdoor beer and cards...make me long for Austin. Does anybody know if a place called Dry Creek is still around? There was an old lady named Sarah that ran the place and banned card playing, but if you could sneek them upstairs, there was no better time than playing cards with a view of Lake Austin.

Yeah I know Dry Creek. That lady that ran the joint was really crabby. Interesting little dive though. I drove by it a year ago and it looked closed down for good, but I could be wrong. It's up by Mt Bonnell. I won't be joining you though, I just received my rejection from UT (though my stats weren't bad - UT undergrad degrees in business and liberal arts, GPA 3.13 and LSATs of 157 and 167).

Andy, sorry to hear that bad news.  That sucks.

As for Dry Creek.  It's still there.  Sarah is still mean, but her helper is more reasonable (but God help you still if you forget to bring down your empty bottle).  I think it lost some of it's charm years back when they had to put cement in the bathroom floors instead of dirt.  

Actually, sounds like a great idea for something to do this Saturday night for the sunset.
