Quick question about applications
« on: September 05, 2005, 12:33:43 AM »
Sorry to post this here but I couldn't get an answer from the pre-law board.

For the Dean's Certification, do you have to use the law school's form or can you just use your university's form?

I really just want to know if anyone sent in their own university's form instead of the law school's form and had any problems.  I ask cause sending each law school's form to my UG would be expensive from the country I'm living in.

Law school's all differ on things like that.  You're going to have to e-mail or call each one indvidually and find out.

Out of 17 applications I only had two that required a dean's certification. I imagine it would be safer to use the law school's preferred form - they may have some different requirements that what your UG provides.
