Is it just me, or does the person who breaches never get screwed?

Seems to me that you just have to think solely in dollar value of breaching vs. not breaching. There's no morality in contract law.

Bridgemann seems pretty good so far.

It was great today when Bridgeman made some cracks on Knutsen.

I felt like in the Groves v. Wonder, the breacher got off really easy - Groves got the shaft. But it also is becoming more and more apparent that the cts take a lot into consideration beyond what is fair to the parties in the suit - they look to societal effects, economic efficiency, etc.

To tell you the truth i dont think it has that much to do with the facts... a large part of contracts seems to be governed by public and business policy.
