no kicking out.

one poor kid showed up late, and Mr. Practice Court hardass made him stand for about 20 minutes, but other than that, not much.

I just had lunch with a 3L today and she made me feel a lot better.  She said Prof CivPro plays hardass in class, but he's actually a really nice guy.  Also, if anyone else was worried about which books to drag to class like I was, she said just take what you had homework in, but ALWAYS have the Federal Rules of CivPro in CivPro.

Did the kid have to stand in the corner? That would have been funny.  ;D Stranger things have happened. Prof Contracts once asked his victim if he'd had a bowl of "dumbass" for breakfast that morning. You will all LOVE Prof Contracts. Truly, he's scary, but a great guy. Just always be prepared!

Prof CivPro gets mixed reviews. I think he tends to make judgments about people up front, and if you made a bad first impression, you probably won't recover. Does anyone in your class have a nickname yet? Generally, that's a bad sign. Those who acquire nicknames further into the quarter, however, he likes. As for me.... eh.  :-\ I never had a nickname, he never Socratized me to death or publicly humiliated me, I did decently on his exam, but I never warmed to him. And he never warmed to me, either. Prof Contracts, however... I love Prof Contracts.  :D

Prof Property can get a little scattered, and she is easily led off into the hinterlands by the class morons (I don't care what they say... there IS such a thing as a stupid question!). She is just nice as can be, though, which is a welcome relief from the constant sense of impending doom you get in the other classes. It can just be frustrating when the class doesn't seem to be moving forward. Her class will also seem deceptively easy. Unlike the other two, she absolutely WILL test on things she does not discuss in class. If she assigns it, read it and know it, regardless of whether it is ever mentioned. And do ALL of the exercises in the supplement. You will thank me later.
