I will be attending, look forward to meeting everyone.  I agree that casual attire is acceptable because of the "informal" notation in the newsletter.

I just figured if they care enough to put the casual business attire part in with the orientation information, they would have put it with this reception also if they wanted us to dress up. That said, there will be 2 and 3Ls and staf there as well, so looking nice wouldn't be so bad either. I'll see you all tomorrow!
