Yeah that kind of thing can be unnerving if you don't know anyone.  But I plan on going.  My thinking is that hardly anyone will know anyone, and the ones who are interested in getting to know their future classmates will be the ones who show up.

You know what, you're right southbound.  I came to law school to get an education AND meet interesting, intelligent people.  I guess the key is to just put aside the anxious feelings and be yourself.  I look forward to meeting you all either at orientation, the reception, or if we can put something together for tomorrow night.
