West's Nutshells Series
« on: August 04, 2005, 09:28:34 PM »
I've read through most of the studying and exam taking posts and I keep finding a recurring theme that warns not to get the "Nutshells".  Can anyone tell me what they found disagreeable about the Nutshells. One of the Nutshells was written by my one of my textbook authors so I thought it would be the perfect study aid but I don't want to buy it if everyone thinks they are terrible study aids.

Thanks, Jen

i haven't read them, so i can't comment on their quality.  however, someone did mention that they might be useful to get a general understanding of the content matter, especially in preparation.  i think, because there is so much reading in law school, that it is important to pick the best supplements possible -- obviously you can't buy all of them.  based on that reason, there might be better supplements on the market to buy, such as e&es.

Depending on your style and your needs, some of the nutshell books can be very useful. I especially liked the Contracts one.
