coffeeshops and other grad student hang outs

What places do graduate students hang out? Anyone find anything cool on their trips to Tally/

Well,when my fiance and I went to check out Tally, we found a coffee shop that was decorated in  retro 90's goth. It was weird looking,but they had decent coffee.

The area around the law school has a number of restaurants & bars. Po' Boys has decent creole food  and somewhat cheap booze.

Yea we actually ate at Po'Boys while we were up in Tally apartment hunting....It was pretty friggin good for the price. I definately will be heading back.

There is a coffee shop in the Law School student lounge and i think it may me Starbucks!  The only Dunkin's I have seen is a mile or so North up Monroe St.

Schedules come out next week!  Don't know about you guys/girls but i'm excited to learn my section, professors, etc..  And esp. excited to get the books and check out the required reading for the first classes.

They said on or before this Wednesday...I hope it will be Monday sometime.  If you look under "current students" you can also find some of the assignments for the first week of class.
