Contracts: 4
Criminal: 3
Legal research and writing: 2 (p/f)
=16


2nd semester:
Civil Procedure 4
Criminal procedure: 3
Statutory Interpretation: 3
Con. Law: 3
Introduction to Advocacy: 3 (p/f)
=16

Not at all, MidWest. We have the exact same first semester.

Do you think having 5 hour classes is easier or harder than taking 4 substantive classes for 3 or 4 hours each?  I'll be attending UNC in the fall and the schedule seemed a bit different from that of other law schools.

I have no idea but the trend looks like some schools are cramming whole subjects into single terms thus created twice the number of classes in the first year...scary?!?!
