I hear that! I am SO HAPPY that I do not have to take that wretched LSAT ever again. Good Riddance!! I am just waiting to get my stuff from financial aid. I got my bill the other day, but it did not reflect my loans yet. I know the gov. loan is supposed to be guaranteed (and that is 90% of what I need) and I have a private loan for the rest, so I should be good to go.

I am so excited, I just can't wait to start. It is all I think about; I have become the world's worst employee!! :D

Oh the incompetence if Widener.  I have been enrolled since May, because I accepted a scholarship, and they have neglected, each week since May, to notify AES that I am enrolled full-time.  Now, I have consolidated my undergrad loans, with the assurance from Widener that I would go into automatic deferral; however, since the loan people do not recognize that I am enrolled, I have to pay my loan back, until such time that Widener sees fit to staighten this mess out.  And, I'm still not over the loss of my cat.  I'm not doing well.

Thanks pluto!  And, an e hug right back to you!  If it is any consolation, my father has lived with prostate and bladder cancer for the last 18 years, and although it does come back, he fights it every time and wins (in my opinion).  Plus, he's 87 this year and also has COPD and heart desease.  Your father is going to win too.   You and he will be in my prayers.

Hey,
My father-in-law had prostate cancer and he beat it--so far so good. And it's odd you should mention this, because my dad finds out today if he has prostate cancer.

You will be in my prayers, too.

Actually, he does have cancer, and he is having surgery to have his prostate removed. But I am opptimistic and so should you be. It is a very treatable cancer. So let's stay positive, everyone!

Sorry to hear that legalkitty, but as you say it is very treatable.

Hey, did I read that you already have your books for fall?  Well, I must say, Harrisburg is more efficient than DE.

No, but I am going to pick them up today. I am psyched!! I am just hoping that for K and Torts I will get to use my books from TAP. Torts is the same professor, so that is promising.

I also just found out that I was awarded a private scholaship for $1, 200 from this woman who gives one in memory of her daughter who went to Widener. I didn't even know about it! Isn't that crazy?? (and awesome, too!!)
