Widener Harrisburg

Anyone attending Widener Harrisburg as a 1L this fall? Or, if anyone currently attends Widener, do you know where the vast majority of students find apartments?

Hey, I'm most likely going to Harrisburg next year (unless Quinnipiac accepts me off their waitlist). I visited the campus on wednesday. They have a lot of cheap apartments (cheap in comparison to central NJ). I'm looking into a Studio at Korman for only $565/per month.

Yeah, that's not bad at all. I live in Philly, so I can certainly relate to the lower prices. See you there!

What can everyone tell me about the grading curve at this school. I've heard, and I'm not certain this is true, but for legal methods the curve allows for an avg grade of 2.3. Is that true?

Hi.  I will be a 1L at Widener Harrisburg this year.  I am living in Williamsburg Estates - a friend of mine that will be a 3L (although he has trasnfered) lived in Williamsburg Estates for his first two years and really liked it.

I just got an apartment in Korman Communities on N. Front St. Any other Widener students living there? Its a great place, Starbucks coffee and muffins every morning from 6-9am. Also, how is everyone's schedule? What section are you in? I'm in section P. My last question. What day is everyone moving out to Harrisburg?

I think I am in Section N but I don't have my schedule in front of me at the moment so I am not 100%.

My official move date is July 30th but I probably will be back and forth the first week in August.  I am out of the country from Aug 6 - 13 so I suppose will be officially 100% full-time on August 13th when I get back from my trip.

I had the bookstore ship me my books for Orientation/Intro to Law so hopefully that will help me be on top of everything.  I am hoping at least one or two first assignments are released before I leave on August 6th!!

Niki, how much did the books come to?

Scott - for two used books/texts, $37.40.  I don't mind other people's highlighting especially because it's Intro.
