If this is YOUR thread ( I didn't realize we would claim ownership to a thread) then stay on topic if you don't want anyone else to go off topic.

I'm sorry, I feel terrible for the way that I have treated my fellow LSDers in this thread. I kinda got out of hand.

sorry

And to think I was so happy to switch to the Students and Graduates board because the posters seemed to have more maturity and the topics seemed more relevant! 8)

Hey I think you are missing one huge factor in your plan to scan all your books... when you scan a file onto your laptop, the files are HUGE. I had to scan signature pages and handwritten changes at work and one day i got the idea to just scan the whole 50 page agreement. Needless to say the files were so big it slowed down my comp so bad and just killed my memory. I can only imagine what such large files would do to a laptop. Just thought I'd give you the heads up!!

Thanks for all of the input guys, but i think i will be carrying out my plan come august. I will try it to start the semester, and if it doesn't seem feasible, i will abandon the idea. But i would like to try it, it may just work for me.

gratias tibi ago, my friends

It's not books only! The laptop is a nuisance as well!

You don't need to scan anything, not even canned briefs -- you can download 'em from the Internet.

Just leave it inside your locker, labamba, and pick it up in the morning!
