Thanks! I'm going to check out the school tomorrow I think, since I haven't done so yet!

Does anybody know if the school sends out of listing for roommates?

Hi g! I think you will like the facilities; however, I don't know anything about the housing and dorms, and what the school provides... twarga probably does, I think I remember her mentioning that she was getting a dorm.

twarga, you're not in any of my classes yet :'(.  But, as NightOwl indicated, the classes can't be full; I only have one other person in Torts.

Keep an eye out and let me know.

I saw the school for the first time on Saturday. A lot different from what I had expected, but still cool. I felt like I was at summer camp or something. I like that it's small and everything is close. Saw the townhouses (I'm assuming) which aren't bad, not sure about what they look like on the inside though. I am going to stick with renting a local apartment though, so I need to get started on that.

It does have a summer camp feel, but I don't think we'll be roasting marshmallows any time soon.   ;)

Hello everyone!  Did anyone miss me?  I've been down the shore for the week! Wooohooo!  It was great, sunny and breezy the entire time.  I needed it before ls.  What has everyone else been up to?

twarga, I certainly will let you know.  As of today nothing on my roster has changed.  LawWarrior was supposed to call the registrar, I wonder what happened with that...  Right now, I still only have one other person in Torts with me, so they are definitely still working on the schedule.

Hi twarga, I'm here... it's good to know I'm not talking to myself.   :P  I checked my schedule before I replied, and you are still not showing up in mine.

So, what are you doing to enjoy the summer?  8)

I'm quiet, but here, through this weekend, at least -- after that, I'm beach-bound myself.  There was a letter in my mailbox today from the dean.  It was pretty much information we all know about the school, recent moot court victories, and so forth.

Have a good time at the beach!  8)  It sounds like good weather on the east coast next week.

I received the same letter, and what I thought was, "Why did they send me this after I made my decision?" It seems like something that you should receive when you are still deciding.  Oh well... it's sunny and hot and I don't care right now.

When will other information start coming out, such as class info? I was accepted in May, so I think I'm a little behind everybody else in mailed stuff.

Was up to the school today and checked out apartments if any if interested in my thoughts. First was Korman/stratford complex. Lots of different floorplans and nice area, about 5 min from school maybe (off Naaman's rd). Felt pretty safe, small fitness club and a pool. Leasing agent said that there are tons of Widener students there. Drove past Valley Run and something with "Brandywine" in it. Didn't get a good vibe from those places, so didn't get out of the car. Those 3 are all in the housing packet that was sent out (I think!).

Although I"ll be living at home near Dover, DE, I got a dorm room too.  They weren't half bad and pretty cheap.  I like that they're right next to the academic buildings.
