is anyone else as concerned about driving to school as I am? Maybe it's just me, coming from Alabama .. but I'm really freaked out about possibly having to live out of walking range!

I'm looking at Clarendon Heights and Rugby Square right now, but have also contacted several people that have apartments in houses a little closer.

I'm going up July 15th to look around for a place, but I'm afraid that will be too late. Any suggestions?

I am at Rugby - it is certainly not within walking distance.  I looked at some places that were closer to school, and i was a little uneasy about the neighbourhoods.  The places that were recommended and close to campus were out of one bedrooms when i visited in early June.

If you are in Rugby, we could possibly carpool.  There is also bussing, but I don't know how reliable/close that is.

Does anyone know what apartments are currently available? I've called several and haven't been able to find any openings yet. Is anyone living in Skyline?

Hey!!

I went a couple of weeks ago, and I had a really, really, really hard time finding anything.  I did manage to find a one bedroom place that I liked, and it was close enough to walk to campus.  A lot of places had openings for the first of September, but that wasn't really an option for me because I'm coming from so far away.  Good luck!

I know that ttiwed originally posted this a way back, but is anyone interested in getting together maybe the week/weekend before orientation. 

I am moving to Syracuse August 15th and as of yet, do not know anyone in the area.

I'm a student(undergrad/grad) at SU currently. You may want to look into Madison Towers. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the law school. It might be worth checking out since it isn't too expensive for the syracuse area. I've seen some things on Craigslist posted recently so there is also another resource. Hope this helps
