Golf in August

I'm thinking about organizing a couple dozen Pitt 1Ls to go golfing in Pittsburgh in about mid-August.  Perhaps best ball or scramble.  There's a pretty nice city owned course in the city I believe.

And then drinks afterward.

Anyhow, if anyone is interested, reply.  I'm thinking about the third week of August -- a few days before orientation.

That sounds like an excellent idea. I've always been quite a poor golfer, but that has never stopped me from going out and giving it another try. I'm in.

That's the good thing about holding this at a public course.  You don't have to be a great golfer to participate.

What a great idea!  I was hoping to meeting some golf junkies, so we can relieve some steam from a grueling school year every once in awhile on the links.  I am not too good, but love to play.  I am in.  I am actually moving out there in two weeks, so if anyone is in town or also moving there, I would love to hangout.  I am down to hangout and start meeting new people.  I don't know anyone out there, so you all are my only friends there.  Talk to guys soon.

How far is Philly from Pittsburgh?  I love to play golf but alas I'm going to Rutgers.  What course are yall planning to play?
