Microsoft Note?

We are being as helpful as we can be.  If you already own it--if you got it free with your computer--then try it and see if it works. If you don't like it after a week or two of classes, you can stop using it. Then post here for some other soon-to-be 1L and tell them whether you like it or not. 

If you don't already have it, I already gave you my best advice.  Five years ago people at my school weren't even typing their notes...today, I don't know a single person who uses something other than regular word-processing programs on a computer.  I also know several people who still take notes by hand.  I tried my best to be helpful--I don't think that One Note is necessary--save your money.

OneNote is tha bomb.  It has some irritating things that come along with it... but I tried to switch back to regular Word this semester and couldn't do it.  OneNote just makes it way faster and easier.

I use it.  It works very well.  My only problem is that  you cannot include charts and graphs the way you can in MS Word.  It's a great way to have all your notes for each subject in one place.  I subdivide sections by topics (each class) and I separate that by each week.  It also helps if you want to quickly search through all of your notes for a key concept.  I highly recommend it.

You can put graphics and charts in easier then in word.  In fact you can put webpages and emails in as graphics.  What problems were you having with it?
