transfering to hastings?

hi everyone,
I've heard some mixed reviews from people who go to/went to Hastings.
Does anyone out there have any other opinions about Hastings? Also, any advice on the application process?
Thanks!

Hastings is a pretty competitive place. It's filled with people who got rejected/waitlisted from UCLA/Boalt/USC/Stanford who are working overtime to do well their first year so they can transfer to those schools. So Hastings usually has room for transfers because the ones who did well their first year transfer to the above mentioned schools and other schools like Georgetown or Chicago.
