Lucas,
I will be attending Ole Miss next year. I also attended the Open House. There were around 150 admitted students there, and from my conversations with many of them I would say about half of them are definitely coming. We all met in one of the main classrooms on the first floor, met the dean and two law professors, watched a mock class discussion with current 1Ls and were then marched all the way to the football stadium for lunch. Everyone, including the current students, professors, and prospective students seemed very down to earth. Several current students who were not affiliated with the Open House made it a point to congratulate me on being accepted. Overall it was a great experience and I look forward to August. If you have any more questions, please feel free to e-mail me. If you need any more help or advice on Oxford or Mississippi ( i live in northern Miss., an hour from Oxford) just ask.

I posted this somewhere else... but thought I should put it here on the ole miss board
I visited Oxford this weekend for the first time in order to get an apartment. And, WOW, I absolutely love oxford. What an awesome little town. The houses are beautiful, the weather wasnt even good for there and I loved it, the girls - well - damn (classy and attractive), and the campus was amazing. After all of the statements about the law school building, I really didnt think that it was that bad at all. Needless to say I am incredibly happy that I chose Ole Miss over Kentucky, and my bank account will be too. Look forward to seeing all of my future classmates, -- southern wannabe
