How long does it take for them to decide someone's financial aid package?  I just received my acceptance, and I'm pretty sure I have all the materials in... so now I'm just waiting~ more waiting...

It's been taking tham a while for me. But that's because they keep asking for additional information.

Yeah, it's a pain. But once they finally get what they need, you can process your loans right away. I did my Stafford already and my private loan is in the works.

I just got final confirmation of my loans. I'm on the hook for a lot of money now.

Notes for a 3L at Nova:
It's a great school, has a fantastic reputation in the tri-state area and you don't have to worry about getting mugged. LOL.
 
Anyway, just wishing you incoming 1Ls the best of luck.
Snobbishness is mostly a rumor at Villanova. It's more of a "I haven't seen much of the world" sentiment that goes around, so once the students get to know you, which takes maybe vie minutes at most, they are wonderful. The faculty goes out of its way to be helpful and get ready to be babied. there are times when with the amount of "coaching" and "leading" the administration does, you feel like you are back in 1st grade. It's a good, quiet, academia friendly place to get a law degree. You'll appreciate being a little far away from having a life especially during the first year.

I have taken out a total of 120k in loans. No worries, because the school has a great rep. for placement.

1L is NOTHING like law school.... its good for a laugh or two at the people who are at schools like that though!!!
