i live in pb now, you shouldn't have much trouble finding a place here. my roommate and i each pay $625 for a good sized two bedroom, if you want a studio or something a little closer to the beach (i'm about a mile away), it'll be a little bit more, but still pretty affordable. as for location, pb's pretty small, and it depends on what kind of atmosphere you want. anyplace west of ingraham street is going to be louder at night, because it's closer to where the bars are. you should check out the sd craigslist.org, the sd reader, and the union tribune. also, usd sends out a list of students looking for roommates toward the end of summer, and somebody might already have a place and be looking for roommates.
