class starting times?

the long thread in this forum mentioned not having classes before 10am, i'm just looking for a confirmation on this.  that seems unusual.

for those wondering, a reply was given to me on the other board stating that classes for 1L's start at either 10 or 11am, depending on section.

we have classes @ 10 or 11 every day depending on your section. Section A has 10Am every day, section B has wed and friday classes start at 11, all other days are at 10. However, professors double up sometime and make us come in at 9 for 2 hour sessions.

My 1st year all my classes started at 10am.  This year I have one 9am start.  Of the 2 sections one will only have classes scheduled between 10 and 2 because part time students will be in class as well.
