Hello, I have a question
« on: March 06, 2005, 10:40:18 AM »
Hello everyone,

I'm a senior at West Chester University of Pa. I have been researching DL law school for about a week now. I'm really interested in NWCU and plan on sending in my application by the end of this year. I graduate from WCU in Dec of this year.

For the record, my reasons for going the DL route are personal and I wish not to discuss it on a public forum. However, I have researched the patch to becoming a licensed attorney and for my situation, DL is perfect for me.

Nevertheless, I have been looking for an active forum where you don't run into trolls, nay-sayers and others who like to bash people who take this route. If you happen to know of other sites which are friendly towards DL law students, could you please send me the information. Just private message me and I'll be willing to provide you with my email address.

Thanks,

Healthlawyer2B

If you do find out then let me know also.  I stumbled on this site after quite extensive search.  I found it pretty helpful.  I know there are a few bashers, but I care less about them because they're just wasting their time.  The only annoyance is that you have to filter out their comments.  You're anonymous here so don't worry about what people think.  By the way, I picked DL because many things would work out for me.  I know what people may say and I'm prepared to deal with them.  Good luck in your search.

Hey there - I have been researching DL, but mostly Concord.  I have just applied and found a bunch of articles on non-ABA approved law schools in general.  Hope this is helpful to someone.

Hi! I attend NWCUL and it's been a wonderful path for me and my needs. I think that if you go into this fully understanding what you are doing...then it's a wise decision and one that anyone can be proud of.

You'll find tremendous support from the professors and we also have an online NWCUL group for the 1Ls where we discuss hypotheticals, study schedules...person-to-person meetings when we can...and for basically getting to know one another.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions. Good luck!
