I would love to meet other new students-- i am also moving cross-country. I am moving from Dallas...

My wife and I expect to be in Sac at the beginning of July so if anyone wants to meet up, count me in.

Hi everyone-
I haven't looked at the site in a while, so I hope everyone is still checking it.  I would be interested in getting together this summer as well.  I'll try to think of somewhere we can meet.  My suggestions are the Monkey Bar or K Bar.  Also, there is the Pine Cove (somewhat like slimelight, but they give free popcorn and cheap beer). If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Would anyone here want to get together the Wed/Thur/Friday evening on the week before orientation? (Aug 3,4,5)  Most people should probably be moved in by then.  I don't know the area, but I'm up for K Bar, Monkey Bar, Pine Cove -- whichever place has some nice quiet tables to sit around and talk over drinks.

I've been accepted to the evening program for this fall as well. I'm a sacramento native, and would love to get together with you all for a drink, darts, whatever.  Weds. before orientation classes would be fun.  Streets of London on J is one of my favorites. Definitely not as loud/obnoxious as K Bar..  gemesq, you seem to be the other local... what do you think?

I'm game.  Maybe even someplace like the Hoppy Brewing Company.

I like Streets of London too, regi.  That might be a good place to meet on a weeknight (hopefully not too crowded).  I think Thursday, August 4th would be good.  If anybody is interested, you can e-mail me at jelukins@sbcglobal.net and give me your name, etc. and I can give you directions if you are not from around here.  Hope to talk to some fellow borderline-crazy soon-to-be law students soon!

I'd say let's meet around 7:30 p.m.- not too late for those who work on Friday, and we can probably get a good table.
