Just to update, my colleague just got accepted to Duke by email today. Anyone else waiting for reply from this school?

My friend is still waiting for the response. She applied Yale, Cornell,
Upenn, Umich, and oxford.

Did your friend apply to a safatey school?  It seems that she only applied to schools with very high admission standards.  Since Cornell and Michigan have already mailed their first choice candidates, it doesnt look good for your friend!
