Anyone up for a George's (famous bar/restaurant in Waco) trip before orientation?

As I posted on the Spring 2005 board, I invite everyone to drop by [blatant plug] the new Beatnix Coffee House at 19th and Lakeshore [/] for a get-together at lunchtime on February 5th, say.

Hey, Evan.... thought the coffee shop wouldn't be open yet?? I'm all for a meet-up, but I think that with so many of us commuting it would be better to do it on the 4th.

Given the uncertainties of our opening, it's probably best to talk about meeting up at our enforced meet-up on the third (registration/orientation).

Are you two talking about O'George's? That's the only bulletin board I remember ever seeing.

I've no idea, though the other half of my brain (i.e. Google) knows about a "George's" in Waco, but not an "O'George's".

Then I'm probably wrong, since I am not a native. I think lunch/coffee on orientation day is a good idea. Listen, I've gone and misplaced the orientation schedule. Can anyone bail me out? I hate it when I do this.

Not in town yet, but will be as of this Sunday, the 21st.  Last day of work is tomorrow and time is crawling!!!

Please plan to be at the Law School on Thursday, February 3, 2003, by 10:00 a.m. for our registration program.  A sign-in table will be located in the main foyer of the Law School beginning at 9:00 a.m. so can pick up your registration and orientation packet.  Additionally, a variety of pastries and juices will be available in the Student Lounge of the Law School beginning at 9:00 a.m. for all entering students.  The registration and orientation program will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. in Room 127, and it should last until about 12:00 noon.
