TennCare dissolution begins, Bredesen says

The governor also grants 7 days to retain hope of saving his cost-controlling efforts for the health program

Gov. Phil Bredesen announced today that he has started a process to dissolve TennCare, but he has also granted a last-minute request by patient advocates for more time to work out a deal.

It's a shame that you have to be prosperous in this country to receive decent healthcare.
The vast majority of the MDs who accepted TennCare did so because they were so crappy they had no insured/private pay patients.
It's disgusting what I pay every month for insurance and how little it actually covers.But at least I have a choice and can use a good physician......
