supreme court decides teenager executions
« on: October 13, 2004, 02:32:58 PM »
On cnn today, I read that the supreme court is deciding whether they should allow executions on death row for teenagers...

The pro to this is that they did the crime, for example murder, and should be punished with an equivalent.

The con, of course is, these kids don't even have the right to vote, drink, join the military...

what would you vote if you were a judge?

What's a viable solution to all those killers and murderers on death row?  Just keep them locked up?  What happened to eye for an eye?

I'm against the death penalty.

It's cheaper to lock them up for life.

An eye for an eye is Old Testament.  We're supposed to be a New Testament nation.

Killing the killer only cheapens life.
