Did Lewis seem particularly grouchy to you last night? ???

Nah, we just don't want to face the wrath. :P

I don't think he was grouchy, I think he was all business and wanted to get on schedule, and some people weren't letting him move along as fast as he'd like.

I'm in Tuesday and Wednesday classes!  I thought Lewis started out as usual but I think he got frustrated with questions having nothing to do with the material covered last night let alone this year!

Lewis tends to be moody.  I don't think I ever saw him actually laugh the whole year last year and I can count the number of times he actually smiled on one hand.

I think Mr. Lewis was tired of the questions that had nothing to do with what we were doing. Having been in similar situations with college students, it can be very frustrating when students are not concentrating on the task at hand. I think some of the questions were a carryover of the mindset from the previous class.

Personally, I think he has a very dry sense of humor.

Good catch.  That makes a lot of sense, now that you mention it.

You will fMr Lewis has no patience with non-class related material (unless it is cell phones, inside joke from last year).  Just hope the rest of your class realizes this quickly.  He knows what he is teaching and is an excellant teacher (my opinion), but expects intelligent, insightful questions that deal with the topic at hand.  Oh and he EXPECTS you to be prepared.
