You are right. I certainly did not mean to generalize there. I do know there are lots of folks in it for ego and money. Obviously you are not one. Honey, if I was 21, I'd be there with you.
My life has taken a different path. I am happy with my choices. I guess that is what I was trying to convey.

I feel good about the teaching methods at NSL, but it would be nice to be able to take the bar in other states if we want to move.

You can. I think you have to pass the bar here, practice for a while and then ask permission of the bar in another state.

and only in some states.  of those that allow it, some require 10 years of practice in tennessee first.

It depends.  SOme schools will make them start over, others will transfer some credits.  It depends on the school and how far along in the program the student is.

True, as long as I have been here, I don't plan on leaving anytime in the foreseeable future.  So it works for me!

Which states do you know of that will allow you to practice if you pass the bar here?
