Torts with Davidson
« on: September 18, 2004, 11:24:25 AM »
Did anyone notice me disappear on Thursday from torts class?  I got into the discussion so deep I forgot about the crimes exam coming up next and before I knew it the period was almost up.  That's the first time that has happened at law school for me.

And I can't even remember exactly what we were discussing, but I was totally engaged.

Anyone in the Tuesday night Torts class catch which cases were still in play for next week?  I know Professor Davidson took some out, but I didn't catch which ones.

Chuck

Johnson v Woman's Hospital is the case he will not discuss in class but we are still responsible for knowing the material.

Manning v Grimsley (one of last week's cases) is the same way.

He didn't take anything out for Thursday night, I don't believe. I think he told my classmate to brief Johnson v Women's Hospital cause I was glad I didn't have to!

Has anyone figured out why we only have one case for this week?

Maybe he built it in as a "catch up"? I haven't looked at it yet. I'm glad we only have one though! We have quite a few Crimes cases. BTW are you briefing them at length? I am just highlighting them. Seems he doesn't put too much emphasis on the details......

And it's only 2 pages long.

I'm briefing.  they run from 1 page to 1.5 pages.

Yippee. I'll get to work on my outline then. I am becoming obsessed with it! ;)
