Anyhow, I'm done on this thread. I've discussed the subject with a few other students and they all thought what I did here was the right thing to do. Especially since it involved Hogan. I've been told that a link to this thread is currently being forwarded around the faculty so I wouldn't be surprised if they were browsing some of the older posts on the NLS board as well. Once again, the old maxim about not saying something behind someone's back you wouldn't say to their face really rings true. Have a good night, and I'll see you all tomorrow

Oh, and BTW, if she did receive our postings we now have grounds to dispute our grades re: prejudice. Perhaps this is a gift!!!!!

Be sure to check TWEN.  Prof. Hogan has provided some guidance on the "Facts" section of the memo assignment.

Guys, I am not going to get into this argument.  However I want to remind everyone that the grading at school is annonymous by student ID.  So even if you did make a professor hate you (which I think they are all above that), they would not be able to grade you from those feelings.  While some of them do add "points" based on class participation, ect, the majority of your grade is annonymous.

I too am not going to get into this argument.  However I'm in that class and Hogan for some reason has us put our names on our papers, not our student numbers.

I still don't think jj or susan have anything to worry about but I wanted to clear that up.

Personnally I think you are correct that there is nothing to worry about.  However I am really surprised that she has you put your name on your work.  Do you receive letter grade or simply pass/fail for the class?  This is the first year they have had the class in its current incarnation.  Last year it was a 1 credit class taught by Davidson.
