Transfer to NYU Law with a 3.6?

This seems far-fetched, but can you transfer to NYU Law School with a 3.6 from a second-tier law school? I also had a prestigious internship over the summer.

Want to know if I'm just dreaming and shouldnt even bother cutting a check to NYU. They dont need the money.

Sure they need the money...NYU owns half of downtown Manhattan.  Property takes are very very high here. 

In all seriousness though i would recommend calling admissions and stating your specific situation to them.  Better yet go to admissions if you are in the area.
