3L summer jobs

Does anyone know whether employers hire 3ls to work while taking the bar?  I have a good summer job right now, but my employer does not allow graduates to work until they have completed the bar.  Is this normal?  I do not want to starve from the time I graduate until i can start working.  Any advice?

It's typical not to work while studing for the bar.  Most people take the BarBri class which meets for 3-4 hours each day.  In addition, you're supposed to be studying 5-9 hours each day on your own (not sure that anyone actually does that much though).
