Has anyone been taken off of the Maryland wait list?  Does anyone know what percentage were taken off last year?

Thanks in advance for a response.

How about this, has anyone EVER been taken off of the list?  Last year or earlier?  Are my chances absolutely zero, that is, do they just not take people off of the wait list?

As you can see, my hopes are diminishing... any answers would be appreciated.

So last year 5 were accepted,, and this year there are about 650 on the wait list.  In other words, a wait list at UMSL is a rejection.

Just posting info so nobody gets their hopes up like i did.

Congratulations on moving off of the dreaded wait list!  Do you mind me asking what your numbers (GPA/LSAT) were?  I'm still waiting myself, but I'm strictly interested in the evening program.  I wonder if that means my chances are better or worse than those on the wait list for the day program.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated.  Congrats again!

Congrats on getting off the UMSL wait list!!  I guess we'll both be 1L's together.  Myself and another student who posts here have been talking on IM and via e-mail so we can all get together before the competitive crap starts.  Lemme know if you wanna chat! elysiacerise@yahoo.com or LawPrncess3

I was accepted off the waitlist on Friday.  I was reading another post and so was another student.  When I spoke to admissions, they told me ten were admitted.  It varies by year.  Keep hope alive.

I was accepted from waitlist last Friday by email. I am very happy about it because UMSL is my first choice right now.

I am looking for a roommate who can share a one-bedroom with me. Let me know if anyone is interested. rchen2@jhu.edu
