Oh! I just meant in terms of finding a rent. No, I love NYC. I have been here since 93. Here is a link that someone else gave me. It seems worth it.

Another poll - has anyone figured out what they're doing about health coverage while in school. Worst part of leaving work - other than not having a salary - is not having your insurance subsidized.
Does anyone know about GHI and the other providers that NYLS is recommending?

I put in my first deposit.....Second one is coming up. This will be a major change, I live in San Diego by the beach now. I have put my deposit down but still have two schools to here from. So I have heard this school is a bit on the light side socially. We will have to shake that up a bit!!! Anyone else from Ca?

Just survived my first year!  I thought about transferring (my grades are good enough), but decided to stay put.  Made some really good friends, mostly excellent professors, love the neighborhood, and everyone I know who wanted to work in law this summer landed a job through the school.

People have been placed in firms (large, medium, and small), judge clerkships, and government.  In fact, the school is still posting job opportunities at this late stage, so it appears there are plenty of jobs this summer.
