Includes some, i have to pay electricity which has been averaging about $30/month.

How soon do you need to know about rent etc.?

Whenever, my lease goes until the end of September so I'll have to sublease/break my lease anyways so it really doesn't matter.

Quiet (ya I'll probably be studying alot)
Non-smoker (at least in the apt.)
Non-drinker (at least in the apt.)
Bascially a serious student.

I'm new here. Excited to start, and in the process of prepping for LS. What prep books are you reading?

I worked and traveled for a while then finished my degree this May.

Although we don't know the sections we'll be in, we'll all be taking the same classes, perhaps different teachers, but the same classes.  So we could start some studying.  We don't know the specific cases, or even books, but some cases are almost mandatory.

They recommend reading all these law school prep books, but I did that before I decided to go back to school.  I want to get a head start now when there is not the intense pressure of law school.

Anyway, I am open to ideas.

I forgot to add... good luck with finding a "non-drinker" in law school.  I'm not sure that exists.  And if it does, i sure as hell wouldn't want to live with them.

Well I'm now a 2L here and yes I did end up rooming w/a drinker, but one non-drinker as well. A great way to prepare is to work on legal writing. It's quite different than most writing and takes some adjustment. You could get a "bluebook" citation book and look it over, but they do change almost ever year. But that isn't the difficult part; the difficult part is learning to write decently in IRAC (Issue, Rule, Analysis, Conclusion) form.
