LLM at NYU

I have been in practice for over ten years in the public sector and am considering applying for admission to NYU.  I graduated from a second tier school in the bottom half of my class.  Am I wasting my time by applying?  I'd like to go part-time?  Any comments?

I hear their LLM is great. It's so great that I got rejected ;)
Apparently, they really want people with a strong work experience AND great credentials.

no harm in trying. most of the programs at NYU are public service law, international law and tax. so if your work experience does not fall squarely on these, you may be up for some challenges. good luck. I was admitted there but I could not wait for the amount of the grant they were going to give me so I went to another (better?) school.
