Is it true that NYU students aren't ranked?

Are they not ranked based on grades?  Do they even get graded?  I heard there's virtually no competition since it's assumed everyone who attends NYU law school has "made it" and they all get jobs anyway.

I wonder how people get the coveted clerkship positions and stuff then...law review?

I dont believe that it true.  I was reading a discussion transcript on the admitted students website and it indicated that the first year grading is based on a mandatory curve.  This leads me to believe that a ranking and grading system is in place.

NYU Law students are definitely ranked, even if it isn't outright.  A forced curve forces you to figure out where you stand pretty quickly.
