Converting LSAT Scores (120-180) to (20-50)?
« on: April 01, 2004, 01:35:32 PM »
Hi,

Anyone know how to convert from the new LSAT point system to the old?

I'm trying to find a table or something.

Thanks, please email.

the lsat is a standardized test

150 is 50%ile... 160 or 140 is one standard deviation from the mean  170 or 130 is two std dev... 180 or 120 is 3 std deviations.

If the old test was also standardized, then it was likely 5 points per std deviation.

35=150 40=160 45=170 50=180

again only a guess, and if what I hear is true, there is no comparison, the old test supposedly didnt have logic games.
