Laws concerning OWI's

Greetings,

I'm new to the message board, and hope it is appropriate to ask a question here concerning the Laws about OWI's.

I am facing nine years in prison for a misdameanor owi,my last owi was in 1990 and my last felony was in 1993, I have also been charged with being a habitual substance abuser,I go to Jury trial 3-25-2004,is there any laws or help that any one can input to help me.Thank you.P.S I am not a criminal and I don,t think I deserve this kind of harsh sentence they are trying to give me.

I know most of you are probably on Spring break, but just to let you know the outcome...

I had a jury trial, and I was found not guilty, on all charges!! Four charges I had.

My lawyer was Bruce Graham. .. Lafayette Indiana.
