Accepted At Ole Miss

My first one! Damn it feels good to finally get one.  The stress is starting to leave my body.

Are you in-state? A friend of mine that got in said that they told her they would let as many people know before April 1 ... and then they were going to release another round of letters after the April 15th day.

Do you if this is true or just speculation? What was your letter dated BTW?

Based on my conversation with the Dean of Admissions(a very nice lady), the adcomm met last thursday and quite a few decisions(admissions) were made (including mine - i am in), they will be sending out packages by this friday

M22MS: Thanks for the notification. So does this mean that rejections and waitlists are going to be sent out too? Or are they waiting to see who deposits $ before they start doing that? I hear Ole Miss is one of the slowest at getting back.

Congrats!  I'll be at Ole Miss this fall...if I don't receive any good news from Georgia. ;)  I went there for a year as an undergrad and I LOVED IT.

Im at Ole Miss too!  ;D  Decided and mailed in my deposit. oh, and I second that..the director of admissions is super super nice.  The entire admissions staff really. Extremely nice.

I would second everyting that people have said about the admissions staff.  Even though I'm from MS, I was treated like a nonresident b/c I've been away for awhile.  But they did say I could gain residency for the 2nd & 3rd year.
