what do you mean by not sealed anyway? is it obvious that nobody ever sealed it, or could the glue on the envelope have been of poor quality? I wonder if a school would really just not close envelopes... maybe I am missing something

Well, it looked like nobody ever licked the envelope.
The adhesive was still in tact, like new.

My "decision" too! Seems to be a trend this year. People say Santa Clara didn't seal their either.  . .

Yup, got the same "we were impressed by your credentials" ding. My letter however, WAS sealed... but only because the postman left our mailbox open in the rain. But the good news is that the signature ran, so you can tell that the Ass. Dean actually signs the letters! Now that's what I like to see in a rejection. I'm not bitter... noooooo... lol.
