Um Maroon....September 3rd comes a full month before October.  I already did beat that above.

In response to whether or not I got a letter, yes.  I got a letter today.

Me too...my numbers are identical to both of yours.

Maroon, where do you think you're headed?

Edit: You, too, WarEagle...Emory?

I have not been waiting as long as everyone else has (since 1/10 or so). Looks like they are farther behind than they were last year. Anyone think he or she is heading to GMU?

I've narrowed it down to SMU (with 14k/yr) and Tulane (with 20k/yr).  I just can't see myself going to Emory at full cost when Tulane/SMU will give me better job prospects where I want to work.  I'm visiting SMU on Friday, and Tulane on the 11th.  I'll probably make my decision based on gut instinct.

Hey sejul - actually, I'm leaning heavily towards Alabama.  UGA was just too stand-offish and I've heard bad things about their ueber-competitive students, which would drive me nuts.  Emory is just too dang expensive and I already live in Atlanta.  The traffic truly is as bad as they say  ;)  I think Alabama will give me the lowest debt for the biggest returns.  I'd love to practice in Birmingham, Greenville (SC) or Nashvegas and UA places well in all three.

This year W&L got more apps than ever before, I think more than 3,800, so competition got siffer and their man power per 1000 apps smaller.  For all the waitlist people, the first deposit is April 15 so after that people will be making their decisions.
