Any Debaters?

I'm a junior in high school looking at a law career, and after reading some of these posts it seems that logic and critical thinking matter most, especially when taking the LSAT.  I was wondering if anyone who views this post was a debater in high school i.e. LD or CX debate, and if so, did/does it help?

You know, Julie, it is the dregs of legal society such as yourself that lay claim to the worst and most presumptuous atrophies laid upon the doormat of honest legal professionals by the body politic.  It seems as though your charity, graciousness, and largesse follows only as far as your surely bloated and indecorous paycheck.  I cannot begin to assess the degree of your petulance that prompted you to post vilifying and opprobrius remarks to a comment which did not concern you in the slightest measure.

Oh, and zenbiddie, remember that if you must use a thesaurus to look up any of the vocabulary I used, you have been bested by a "kid."

Thanks, Julie.  Your base and immature insinuations merely say "I concede, you win."  Secondly, are you a cavewoman, because you consistently seem to be missing key conjunctions in your sentences.

I love this stuff. 

You're in high school.  Think about law school while you're in college.  If you still want to go, read prep books and maybe take a Kaplan or Testmaster course.  High school debate won't help you on a scan-tron LSAT.
